First home buyer grants & concessions

A clear by-state guide to what a first home buyer can get: stamp duty relief, the First Home Owner Grant, the 5% deposit guarantee, and the super saver scheme.

Stamp duty relief - New South Wales
No stamp duty up to $800k; reduced $800k-$1m (new or established).

First Home Owner Grant (FHOG)
$10,000 for new homes (cap $600k built / $750k house-and-land).

First Home Guarantee (5% deposit, federal)
First Home Guarantee: buy with a 5% deposit, government guarantees the LMI gap. No income caps, unlimited places (from 1 Oct 2025). Price caps vary by state. NSW capital-city price cap: $1,500,000.

First Home Super Saver (federal)
First Home Super Saver: contribute up to $15,000/year (max $50,000 total) into super, then withdraw it for your deposit.

Check current NSW figures with the Revenue Office. Once you have spoken to a broker about which of these you qualify for, CallNote writes the file note of that call from the transcript.

General guidance, not financial advice. Grants, caps and concessions change often and depend on your circumstances (new vs established home, income, prior ownership). Confirm current rules with the official source above before relying on them.
The maths only runs one way

Stop writing the note. CallNote does it on every call.

CallNote turns the transcript your phone or meeting system already made into a finished, compliance-ready file note in about two minutes. Every call you take, that is roughly ten minutes of revenue work handed back to you, so it pays for itself before you hang up.

No credit card. Unlimited notes. Built in Australia.
